Revenues to the state budget of Ukraine in January-October 2021 exceeded the planned indicators by UAH 44 billion.
As a UNIAN correspondent reports, this was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal during a government meeting.
“Another factor of macroeconomic stability remains large-than-expected revenues to the state budget – in January-October this year, the budget received UAH 44 billion more than expected. Local budgets received UAH 13.5 billion more than expected, and UAH 47 billion more than last year. The increase in budget revenues allowed us to allocate large funds for subsidies, medicine, infrastructure, support for the economy and citizens, “said Shmyhal.
The prime minister also said that the funds of the second tranche of the IMF in the amount of almost $ 700 million should go to Ukraine today.
“For many foreign investors, our effective cooperation with the IMF is an indicator that Ukraine is moving in the right direction of reforms. Therefore, such cooperation will continue and, I am sure, it will also remain effective,” Shmygal emphasized.
On November 22, the International Monetary Fund agreed on the allocation of a tranche of $ 700 million to Ukraine.
