Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian exports to the EU have grown by 54%
The 6th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee took place in Brussels. Vladyslav Magaletska, Head of the State Food and Consumer Service, is taking part in the Ukrainian delegation. She stressed that bilateral trade is actively developing.
“Negotiations with European colleagues are taking place against the background of active growth in trade relations. Thus, for 9 months of 2021, Ukrainian exports to the EU increased by 54%. At the same time, the growth concerns not only raw materials. For example, growth in finished foods was 25%. We have significant significant progress, however, a lot of work is still ahead, ” said Vladyslava Magaletska .
According to her, the active strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, in particular, in trade, will take place in the framework of mutual rapprochement of economies.
The State Food and Consumer Service plays an important role in the efficiency of Ukrainian exports. Its task is to overcome technical barriers to trade and provide state guarantees for compliance with the requirements of partner countries.
