  • Britain must step up to the plate and arm Ukraine to the teeth. We should send some of our quartermasters there to find out what is needed and start shipping it out. Plus of course two battalions of combat troops and several SAS and SBS platoons.

  • This is a chance for Britain to make good its pledge of the Budapest Memorandum, albeit belatedly. Currently, Ukraine can use every bit of military help, so it seems.

    • There are signs of this. With the exception of the US, Britain is far and away Ukraine’s biggest supporter. Apart from a huge list of humanitarian goods and services which can be seen on HM govt website, hundreds of our officers and trainers have been there since 2015 and that keeps increasing. Elite Ukrainian soldiers and officers have been sent to Sandhurst for further training.
Currently we are building warships for Ukraine which will be armed with modern anti-ship missiles and right now SBS and SAS forces are on standby for deployment in Ukraine.

      • I must give a lot of credit to Boris then. Well done! I am glad that at least your country hasn’t been infested with a decrepit, feeble woke leadership.

        • I have a little inside information too that even though the US has been trying for years to replace the Warthogs, they just can’t get it done. They are extending the program and there’s a pack of them in Estonia. I don’t know protocol but they’ve been there for years now and may end up staying there.

          • Yes, I know that the A-10 has not yet been replaced. I recently read an article about this topic and it seems that the Warthog will be around for a whole while longer. There simply isn’t anything better now or in the near or medium future.
