In the Cherkasy region, the overhaul of the N-08 highway Boryspil – Dnepr – Zaporozhye – Mariupol was completed.

The Zolotonosha bypass was also reconstructed, expanding the road with additional traffic lanes. Modern lighting was installed here and the overpass over the Zolotonoshka River and the railway was repaired. The bridge over the Supiy River near the Peschanoe village was also overhauled.

In total, by the end of the year, 259 km of national roads will be repaired in the Cherkasy region under the presidential program. Taking into account the 224.2 km restored last year, about 500 km of roads will be repaired in the region in two years.

As stated by President Vladimir Zelensky, the plan “big building” on 2021 – to repair and construct 6500 km of roads and 245 bridges.
