Mr Prager is in no doubt as to why that is.
When discussing commie atrocities, he takes particular note of Ukraine’s suffering. Which is good, for a five minute video.
Also because, in WWII, the allies were on the same side as communist SU and that was the “good” side, for one, and two, because the socialists of this world have swept those atrocities beneath a giant carpet for decades.
Yes. British communists supported Hitler because he was an ally of Stalin. They even defended the invasion of Poland from the west by Germany and simultaneously from the east by Russia.
British commies only got behind the allies when their beloved Stalin was attacked and he was forced to switch sides.
Churchill threw all his weight into the Artic Convoys to help feed, fuel and arm RuSSia. We lost 85 merchant vessels, 16 warships and 3000 of our men died in the cause of helping a vile totalitarian regime.
Churchill was one of the few who realized the evils of Stalin and would have preferred waging war on the SU as soon as Nazi Germany was defeated. His plan was called Operation Unthinkable and was concieved in May 1945.
Yes unfortunately it was a very unpopular view. But loudly shared by Gen George Patton, who wanted to push on, drive the Russians out of Eastern Europe and take Moscow.
He died in dubious circumstances shortly after the war.
His distain for Russians : “I have no particular desire to understand them, except to ascertain how much lead or iron it takes to kill them. In addition to his other characteristics, the Russian has no regard for human life and is an all out son of a bitch, barbarian and chronic drunk.”
Unfortunately, the biggest majority in the post WWII West were drunk with victory, which blinded them to what would lie ahead concerning Stalin and the SU. But, both Churchill and Patton had seen right through the Stalin/Ruskies and recognized the consequences of their aspirations.
