A student from Moscow stated that she was detained and raped at the police station. Investigative Committee refused to open a case because she did not have “obvious injuries”

Miloslava Malyarova, a 21-year-old student from Moscow, claims that a drunken Interior Ministry officer raped her at the police station, but the Investigative Committee refused to open a criminal case. The details of the incident were reported in a telegram by a State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, writer Sergei Shargunov, referring to the words of Malyarova herself and her lawyer.

The police detained Miloslav Malyarova together with her boyfriend on the evening of August 11. According to the girl, they were “unexpectedly without explanation” taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Moscow district of Lyublino. “They took all my things there. I could not contact my relatives and call a lawyer. At night, a drunken employee raped me, ”Malyarova said. A friend of the girl’s family claims that the rape took place “with the participation” of the second operative, but this information has not been confirmed by anyone else. Shargunov writes that the girl called for help and “out of despair cut her veins with a razor found in the rapist’s office.”

In the morning, the victim claims, they tried to give her “some money” and demanded that she not tell anyone about the incident. At the same time, her passport and phone were not returned to her – she was able to receive documents only after a few months.

On August 13, Miloslava Malyarova, together with her lawyer, filed an application with the Investigative Committee, but a month later they refused to initiate a criminal case. “As they say, there are no obvious marks and injuries on me, which means, according to this completely wild logic, I did not resist enough,” Malyarova said. – But imagine for a moment: in front of me is a drunken man, with weapons, much older than me, physically strong … Fighting with him is simply pointless for me, and all words were useless. “

Malyarova’s lawyer Uladzimir Bunakov told Takie Dela newspaper that he filed a complaint with the Lublin Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office, after which the refusal to initiate a case was canceled as illegal. Now the investigation is conducting an additional check.

According to the lawyer, the police officer, whom Malyarova accused of rape, was fired from the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Lyublino retroactively. The police department does not say why the girl and her friend were detained in August. The police claim that they did not detain Malyarova, and that she herself “did not want to leave the department for 24 hours.”

After the rape, Malyarova says, she has nightmares and often cries. “I often start crying for no reason, I get very scared, it just rolls in a wave, I don’t even notice how I grab the hair on my head, it can last five minutes, fifteen, half an hour, and I absolutely can not do anything about it” , She says. Now the girl is communicating with an experienced psychologist. But the actions of the investigation, according to the lawyer, do not allow her to recover: “Yesterday [October 29] she was tormented for six hours. They brought me to a nervous breakdown, and I stopped the questioning process. “

Shargunov turned to the Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov and handed over “all the names, titles and monstrous details” of the rape in the police department. The deputy demanded to open a criminal case. At the time of publication of the note, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Investigative Committee did not comment on this.
