A new modern shop was opened by a poultry farm in Volyn

On October 21, Volodymyr-Volyn Poultry Farm opened a meat and bone meal shop. It is part of the project to build a new processing complex, which the company began in 2019.

“With the start of construction, we predicted that we would be able to immediately launch and put the entire complex into operation. The cost of construction is projected at 1.5 billion hryvnias. To date, almost 700 million works have been carried out. This Complex will increase our production capacity and up to 500 new jobs. I believe that this is useful for both the company and the state in the form of increased tax revenues, and for people who will get jobs in this region, “said Dmitry Dobkin, co-owner of the company.

The construction of a modern processing complex is carried out according to European standards. This is a complete equipment of world manufacturers and a reliable system of environmental safety through recycling of industrial waste and the availability of modern treatment plants.

“Equipment for the shop was purchased in the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey and the United States. Its production capacity is 11 tons of meat and bone meal per day. The cost of the purchased equipment was almost 50 million hryvnias, at the same time the total cost of construction of this shop amounted to more than 130 million hryvnias. The shop will first of all process the remnants of its own production and will be able to earn in full with the launch of the whole complex, “said Dmitry Gedz, construction project manager.

Present at the opening, Bohdan Lozynsky, head of the main department of the State Food and Consumer Service in Volyn region, said that similar shops could solve the problem for Ukrainian industry with the disposal of production residues.

“This is a good initiative, when the company operates as a Volodymyr-Volyn poultry farm and independently builds a shop for processing residues from its own production. As we see here, this is modern European equipment, respectively, control of emissions into the atmosphere. And, in my opinion, this is one of the best options, “said Bohdan Lozynsky

A new processing complex is being built near the village of Gayky in Ovadnivska OTG. By the way, during the first stage of decentralization, the community fought for the annexation of this settlement, because they understood that serious taxpayers are needed for self-sufficient functioning.

“This shop is very important for our community, because it is through him that we fought for the accession of part of the Turiya district to Ovadnivska OTG. We knew that it would open, and we are already looking forward to when it will work in full. We know that these are jobs. When business is fighting for the market today, people are fighting for jobs. Community residents need jobs, they need to feed their families. We hope that there will be several hundred additional jobs, we hope for several additional millions of taxes, “said Serhiy Panasevych, head of Ovadnivska OTG.

At the same time, Volodymyr-Volynska Poultry Farm is a major taxpayer not only in this community, but in the region and the country as a whole: since the beginning of 2021, as of September, the company has paid more than 169.3 million hryvnias in taxes to budgets of various levels.

“We are pleased that today they are passing the next stage of construction of a new processing complex. We hope for a quick completion of works, this is a very good thing for our region and the whole of Ukraine, because the poultry farm ranks fourth in terms of poultry in the country. ” – Yuriy Gorbenko, Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Volyn Regional State Administration.

The company has more than 1,500 employees. With the launch of the Processing Complex, additional jobs are expected to be created.
