During January-September 2021, 9.98 million tons of cargo were transported along the Dnieper River, which is 34.9% or 2.58 million tons more than in the first 9 months of 2020.

During the reporting period, 11,739 flights were made along the river against 7,899 in January-September 2020.

6.93 million tons of construction materials and other cargo were transported, which is 92% more than a year earlier. They have become a key driver of growth, as all other major types of cargo have shown negative dynamics. Thus, only 2.03 million tons of grain (-17.4%), 998 thousand tons of metal products (-22.5%), and 17.2 thousand tons of oil products (-56.3%) were transported.

Containers in 2021, as well as in 2020, are not delivered across the Dnieper.
