In seven years, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have received about 400 modern Ukrainian anti-tank systems
During the years of the Russian-Ukrainian war, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received about 400 anti-tank missile systems of domestic production
Such data on the current staffing of domestic anti-tank missiles anti-tank units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided the former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (from December 15, 2014 to May 17, 2019) Alexander Turchinov.
“The total number of Stugna-P and Corsair launchers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including warehouses and arsenals, is no more than 300 and 100, respectively,” he said in his own publication on Censor.net .
According to his calculations, currently the Armed Forces are provided with missiles for 107-mm LPTRK “Corsair” is 10% of demand, missiles up to 130-mm complex “Stugna-P” – 50% of demand.
“The need is calculated on the basis of the declared” silence “at the front and is very low. At the same time, the minimum need of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account the number of Russian armored vehicles on our borders, is at least 1,500 Stugna-P launchers and 500 Corsair launchers, Oleksandr Turchynov stressed.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian army units were armed (according to unofficial data from insider sources) with only a few dozen Stugna-P anti-tank missiles (adopted in April 2011).
As for another development of DKKB “LUCH” – a light portable missile system “Corsair”, it was adopted by the Armed Forces on August 29, 2017.
