As of 11:45 am on September 24, 828 people with coronavirus infection have died in Russia per day, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of the virus said.

This is the maximum daily increase in deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. The previous maximum was registered the day before – then the headquarters reported 820 deaths.

According to the operational headquarters , from the beginning of the spread of coronavirus in Russia, 202,273 people have died from covid.
