Update. According to preliminary information, the An-26 plane crashed in the Bolshekhekhtsirsky nature reserve near the Khabarovsk-Novy airport, Interfax reports, citing a source.

The An-26 aircraft, with a crew of six on board, disappeared from radar in the Khabarovsk Territory, Interfax and  TASS reported, citing sources.

The plane disappeared during a technical flight, which took place 40 kilometers from Khabarovsk. The crew does not get in touch. A helicopter was sent to search for the missing An-26 .

TASS writes that a military plane is missing. RIA Novosti clarifies that this is an aircraft of the Flight Checks and Systems company.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations says that the search is complicated by bad weather and dark hours of the day.
