81% of Ukrainians surveyed have a negative attitude towards Russian President Vladimir Putin .
This is stated in the results of a survey conducted by the sociological group Rating in the period from 2 to 4 September.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel (73% vs. 19%) and US President Joe Biden (64% vs. 19%) topped the list of foreign politicians in favor of Ukrainian citizens.
Sociologists have noted that attitudes toward Biden have improved over the past few months, while attitudes toward Merkel have deteriorated.
57% versus 19% are also positive about French President Emmanuel Macron, another 23% admitted that they can not assess the foreign leader or do not know who he is.
Polish President Andrzej Duda closes the rating of Ukrainians’ sympathies – 54% vs. 10%. As many as 37% could not assess or do not know this.
Alexander Lukashenko, who insists he is the president of Belarus, has topped the list of antipathies. 59% of respondents spoke negatively about politics, while 34% – positively.
It is noteworthy that Lukashenko’s rating in Ukraine has fallen sharply in 2021 – from 45% of supporters to 34%, and in the last two years – twice (from 67% to 34%).
The anti-rating among foreign politicians is confidently led by Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin – 81% vs. 15%.
Among whom and how the survey was conducted
Experts interviewed 2,500 Ukrainians over the age of 18 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea.
The survey was conducted by telephone using a computer based on a random sample of mobile numbers.
