Internet service providers have begun blocking Igor Guzhva’s Strana.ua website, which was sanctioned by the National Security and Defense Council on August 21.
The publication page is not available for Lanet and Volia clients. When going to the site, users are notified that there is no connection to the site.
The publication itself has already announced the opening of the site with a new web address. But he added that it is unknown how many new addresses will remain available.
Guzhva and Shariy reacted negatively to the sanctions, saying they were oppressions of freedom of speech. In general, they blame President Volodymyr Zelensky, saying it was his initiative.
At the same time, Sharia’s website, which has also come under sanctions, is still operational.
It will be recalled that on August 20, the National Security and Defense Council imposed personal sanctions against the founder and editor-in-chief of the online publication Strana.ua, Igor Guzhva, and related legal entities.
Also on the list are Alla Bondarenko, Olga Shariy, Anatoliy Shariy and others.
