Ukraine has sent more than 38 tons of humanitarian aid to Lithuania, which will help strengthen border protection against illegal migrants .

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine .

“More than 38 tons of humanitarian cargo left Ukraine for Lithuania today, August 12. This is the first stage of assistance out of three, which Ukraine sends in accordance with the Decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the order of the Cabinet of Ministers,” the statement said.

It is noted that the assistance will help strengthen the protection of Lithuania’s borders from illegal migrants.
