The Tokyo Olympics are over, but it’s not time to relax – the 2021 World Tree Hugging Championship is ahead. The competition will be held in Lapland for the second time.
The championship is conventionally divided into two stages. Local residents can participate in the first one – after all, no one has canceled the covid yet. They will need to hug as many trees as possible in eight minutes. At the same time, according to the rules, hugs should last at least five seconds. The quality of the hugs will be assessed by a special jury. Everyone can participate in the second stage – just send a photo or video with hugging trees and two hashtags

Something is wrong with Russians.
This years event will be cancelled, as all Russian trees are currently on fire.
