Crimean platform: what is known
The Ukrainian authorities have initiated the creation of an international platform for the deoccupation of Crimea.
The Crimean platform will work on several levels:
- the first is political, and will be joined by heads of foreign states and governments;
- the second – the level of heads of foreign ministries and defense ministers;
- the third is interparliamentary;
- fourth – the level of non-governmental experts.
It is envisaged to create an expert network to increase the effectiveness of state action, as well as to attract additional intellectual resources to the work of the platform.
The inaugural summit of the Crimean Platform with the participation of foreign leaders will take place on August 23 in Kyiv.
