The case of “Mezhyhirya”

In January 2021, the WACS Appeals Chamber denied the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office detention of Yanukovych in absentia in the case of taking over Mezhyhirya.

The property of the Mezhyhirya state residence in the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region, where Yanukovych lived from 2010 to 2014, was arrested by the Pechersk District Court in July 2015.

In early July 2018, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv transferred Mezhyhirya to the National Agency for Detection, Investigation and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).

Mezhyhirya is a MUST SEE. I was flabbergasted by the place and I’m sure most other people will be too when they see it for the first time.
I remember people fishing out documents from the water after the mafia president Yanukobitch had fled the country. Which waters they were floating in I can’t remember since there are numerous possibilities there and it’s been a few years ago. Maybe they had to wait for them to dry to read them and to see if they have grounds to order the arrest of Yanukobitch?
