The Communist Party of the Russian Federation will hold pickets throughout Russia in support of Pavel Grudinin, whom the CEC did not allow before the elections
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation will hold pickets throughout Russia in support of businessman Pavel Grudinin, whom the CEC refused to register as a candidate for the State Duma elections. This was reported by “Open Media” with reference to the deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the party, Vladimir Kashin.
The promotions are planned to be held on July 30 and 31, as well as on August 1. In addition, the Communist Party plans to apply for rallies on August 14 and 19, as well as on September 1. “If the actions are not coordinated, then we have working mechanisms to get around these bans. There will be Reds in the cities, ”Kashin said.
According to the politician, the communists plan to seek the restoration of Grudinin on the federal list, and the actions will maximize public awareness of the situation.
We will go out to support Grudinin, but not only him – there are our other comrades against whom the authorities are putting up spoilers. We will support them too. They also put pressure on [Nikolai] Bondarenko in Saratov.
On July 24, the CEC excluded Grudinin from the federal list of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, explaining this by the fact that he had a stake in a company in Belize, which he did not indicate in the declaration. Grudinin himself stated that he had “no, never had, and never will have” any accounts and assets abroad from the moment of his nomination as a candidate for the presidency of Russia until his registration as a candidate for the State Duma.
Pavel Grudinin in March 2018 participated in the presidential elections in Russia from the Communist Party. He got 11.77% of the vote.
