An international pilot training center will be set up in Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine together with foreign partners are considering the feasibility of establishing an international pilot training center in Ukraine.
In particular, this issue was discussed during a working meeting by representatives of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with American partners.
From the American side, the meeting, which took place in Vinnytsia, was attended by the Air Attaché at the US Embassy in Ukraine, Lt. Col. John Carter, and a representative of the California National Guard, Major Kenji Matsuda.
The topic of the meeting was preparation for the next exercises “Clear Sky”. Among other things, the parties discussed the prospects of establishing an international pilot training center in Ukraine, such as the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, which is at the disposal of the Land Forces in the Lviv region.
In addition, the Ukrainian military offered to organize joint training with the California National Guard specialists in search and rescue and survival of the flight crew.
