In the Novosibirsk region, a group of teenagers from the Yunarmiya burst into a children’s tent camp and started firing from an empty weapon. 

The incident took place near the village of Kornilovo, Bolotninsky District, on July 5 in a field tent camp, where there were about 50 children. According to the regional Investigative Committee, in the evening “four teenagers rushed into the camp from the direction of the forest and started shooting in the air.”

As it turned out, the attackers were pupils of the military-patriotic club “Young Army Man”. Their leader, Sergei Kosmovskiy, said that they had an empty weapon with them – several Kalashnikov assault rifles and a light machine gun, as well as smoke bombs. According to Kosmovsky, they came to the camp to conduct classes.

According to the public “Incident Novosibirsk”, the camp leadership gave an order to hush up the situation – the children were told at the meeting that it was a training alarm, and also demanded not to tell their parents about what had happened. The head of the youth center Natalya Yermak called the situation “bloated”, saying that the teenagers from the patriotic club “decided to arrange a surprise and shoot.” “Work was done with the head of the patriotic club, they explained to him that it was inappropriate. They left. Everything, ” she said .
