Putin signed a decree on payment of 10 thousand rubles to parents of schoolchildren
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a lump sum payment of 10 thousand rubles to families of Russians with children, the Kremlin press service reported.
Support is allocated to parents for each child between the ages of 6 and 18 – both a school student and a future first grader.
Payments will be made from August to December 2021 “in order to provide social support for families,” the document says.
Vladimir Putin announced measures to support families with children on April 21 during a message to the Federal Assembly, noting that such a payment would enable parents to prepare their children for school.
