Ukraine has adopted more NATO standards than ten Allies – expert

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have adapted and adopted more NATO standards and procedures than ten countries, which have recently joined NATO, in total.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are the strongest in Europe. They have adapted and adopted more NATO standards and procedures than ten countries, which have recently joined NATO, in total. To understand the contribution to NATO’s security: the Armed Forces of Ukraine are larger and more capable than the armed forces of the mentioned ten countries combined,” Phillip Karber, the president of the Potomac Foundation, an expert on national security and military strategy, said in an interview with Ukrinform.

In his opinion, NATO should stop “playing behind-the-scenes games” and should state publicly that Ukraine is ready to be a full-fledged member of the Alliance.

As reported, Ukraine implemented 292 NATO standards and documents as of the beginning of the year.

There are 27 European countries in NATO, Which would make Ukraine the 4th strongest army in NATO should they get accepted. They may be higher, I’m not sure how strong the Canadian army is. If Muscovy or the Chinks ever declare war on the West, are they going to refuse the help of Ukraine because they haven’t got the right standards and procedures?

    • In terms of quality of ground forces, they are close to the standards of America and Britain, as the British and American trainers will confirm. Especially when you bear in mind that they have to fight a much better equipped opponent with crappy old soviet weaponry. Also, thanks to the fucking krauts and frogs, the rules of engagement favour the putinazis. Unfortunately the air force and navy are very weak and desperately need a massive upgrade. Even more importantly, I suspect that the air defence infrastructure is insufficient to withstand a sustained putlerstani bombardment.
      Lots of help is needed.

    • Ukraine joined with NATO troops in Iraq clear back in 2003 and then on into Afghanistan. The military is confident with Ukrainians so it is just politics (Putin) that is holding up joining, just like it was in 2008.

There is hardly a NATO country I would trust to withstand a mafia attack. I’m afraid most would pull their tails between their legs and wave the white flag asap. I seriously doubt that many don’t want Ukraine in its ranks because of some sort of dumbass standards. It has more to do with having their stupid heads stuck inside rancid Ruskie assholes.
