Former “DNR” ringleader to run for Russian Duma

The first “DNR” leader, who now heads the board of the Union of Donbass Volunteers (UDV) in Russia, Alexander Borodai has won the primaries of the United Russia party in the Rostov oblast and will run for the Duma, – Russian media report.

“This became possible after the conclusion of an agreement between the party and the UDV”, – Russian journalists write.

Representative of Ukraine in the TCG for resolving the situation in the Donbas Denys Kazansky also commented on Borodai’s participation in the Russian elections.

The “civil war” in Ukraine is when first “head of the DNR”, citizen of Russia Alexander Borodai is running for the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the ruling United Russia party. Of course, this proves that Russia is not a party to the conflict, and the Kremlin participates in the war in no way”, – Kazansky writes.

As previously reported, terrorist Alexander Borodai sent from Moscow in 2014 became the first leader of the terrorist “DNR”. He is also the head of the so-called “Union of Donbass Volunteers”, which includes mainly Russian mercenaries who fought against Ukraine.

Election to the State Duma of the Russian Federation is scheduled for September 2021.
