In the Crimea, at the Saki military airfield, two pilots ejected from a Su-30SM fighter on the ground. This is reported by TASS.
The press service of the Southern Military District confirmed that there was an “abnormal triggering of the bailout system.” They stressed that both pilots were alive and that no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
At the same time, according to sources from TASS and Interfax, the aircraft technician received burns.
In March, an abnormal operation of the ejection system occurred at an airfield in the Kaluga region when the engines of a Tu-22MZ bomber were launched. The incident killed three people.
