The police have put an electronic ankle tracking device on member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the Opposition Platform – For Life party faction Viktor Medvedchuk.

Ukrainian News agency learned this from a spokesperson for the Office of Prosecutor General (OPG).

Now, the MP cannot live his home and must wear the device all the time.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has refused to take into custody the Member of the Verkhovna Rada Viktor Medvedchuk (Opposition Platform – For Life faction) and chose for him round-the-clock house arrest until July 9.

According to him, Medvedchuk must deposit his passport and wear an electronic bracelet.

The Office of Prosecutor General asked the court to arrest MP Medvedchuk and set a bail of UAH 300 million.

I hope that the anklet is equipped with a little extra to give the asswipe a shocking experience every once in a while.

  • “Medvedchuk must deposit his passport and wear an electronic bracelet.”

Yeah, but which one, his Ukrainian one, or his Russian one?

  • This is from TASS.

“Apparently – and regrettably – attempts are being made to slowly but surely turn Ukraine into some kind of Russia’s polar opposite, an anti-Russia,” Putin said, according to the TASS news agency.

This is a bad thing? Ukraine turning into a democratic country not ruled by Russian nazis is a good thing. Of course, in the eyes of Russia, they had nothing to do with Ukraine turning anti Russian.

    • Yeah, I was just reading about that on RT. The hypocrisy deserves criticism. Its like listening to an arson scream at some guy for dropping his match and acting dangerously after lighting his cigarette. The goons on RT complain that Ukraine won’t be beaten into submission as Moskali are.
