In August 2020, MP from the OLSZ Viktor Medvedchuk transmitted information about the location of the hidden unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its personnel, said the head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov during a briefing.
According to Bakanov, Medvedchuk told Taras Kozak, who was in Russia at the time, information about the location, personnel and combat training of the hidden unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Bakanov added that it was “a gift to the special services of the Russian Federation.”
Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova clarified that Kozak ” followed the instructions and instructions” of Medvedchuk, including in negotiations with representatives of the aggressor country and exchange of information.
