Putin on WWII Victory Day Says Russia Will ‘Firmly’ Defend Its Interests

President Vladimir Putin on Sunday said that Russia will “firmly” defend national interests as it marked the 76th anniversary of victory in World War II.

“Russia consistently defends international law. At the same time, we will firmly defend our national interests to ensure the safety of our people,” Putin said in a speech on Red Square commemorating the end of the war.

So many lies in two sentences, must be some kind of record even for Putin. Russian national interests usually consist of countries that don’t want Russia defending them. We have seen the body count after Russia defends Russian interests. Usually most are the same Russian speakers he claims to defend. As for Russia and international law, let’s not even go there.

  • Nazi interests are not national interests, otherwise the US would have to invade Canada to protect the anglophone population and annex Baja to reunite with California. Putin is a dangerous racist menace with nukes, totally paranoid and willing to justify any crimes he is responsible for. Actually he is a comedy. I mean the world this clown lives in is a bizarre shitter.

  • I think there’s a typo in the text. It should read: Russia consistently defies international law”.

“…we will firmly defend our national interests to ensure the safety of our people.”
Filthy perverted liar: There is no defending, there is only unprovoked aggression. The people currently are unsafer than in any other time of mafia land’s history.
