President of Argentina vaccinated with Sputnik V vaccine tests positive for coronavirus

President Alberto Fernandez of Argentina said on Twitter that passed the test of coronavirus, which showed a positive result.

Fernandez said that on the evening of April 2, he passed the test after feeling a slight headache, and his body temperature rose to 37.3 degrees. “I passed an antigen test, which turned out to be positive,” the Argentine president said. Alberto Fernandez isolated from others while awaiting the result of a second PCR test for coronavirus.

Alberto Fernandez was previously vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. After his announcement of a positive test for coronavirus, the Moscow Gamaleya Institute, which developed Sputnik V, said that if the disease is confirmed, the vaccine will provide a quick recovery without serious symptoms.
