The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reports that the Russian Federation is ready for large-scale provocations against Ukraine.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

“According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Federation is completing the preparation of a set of measures, the purpose of which is to induce our state to a military response to the hostile actions of the occupiers on the line of contact of the parties in eastern Ukraine, expanding the Russian military presence on the territory of the so-called DPR and LPR by introducing regular armed units of the Russian Federation, motivating this by the need to protect Russian citizens in the self-proclaimed republics (in fact, citizens of Ukraine, who were forcibly issued passports of the Russian Federation in recent years),” the statement reads.

Besides, an attempt to move the Russian occupation forces deep into the territory of Ukraine is not ruled out.

It is also known that Russian diplomatic missions abroad and the media were tasked to be ready to cover and explain to the world community information about the allegedly aggressive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the “peacekeeping” measures of the Russian Federation in response.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 30, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak said that Russia had additionally deployed up to 12 battalion-tactical groups on the border with Ukraine with a readiness period of one to two days.

  • I think its time to send a pair of B-52s across the Donbas to soil some ruSSo-panties and remind the slime who they are.

“The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reports that the Russian Federation is ready for large-scale provocations against Ukraine.”
The big question is; why haven’t they done so yet?
Crimea is firmly secured. And, Donbas was a way to help erode Ukraine unity and resistance, which, in this respect, has become a complete failure. Now, mafia land is stuck with a neverending exploit that is concurrently a money incinerator and reflects an utterly failed military and political endeavor. An embarrassment, if you will. It can neither go onward nor retreat.
Enter Crimea again and its water crisis. I believe that mafia land is working on a concrete plan to find a solution to this serious problem. It too is a major embarrassment and a problem impossible to solve in its current state of affairs. It might see a solution only through military means. Its push to make it into a humane crisis and to make legal cases out of Ukraine’s refusal to provide the peninsula with water are only black flag operations to soften up the already pudding-soft West. A quick military strike to the North Crimean Canal would secure Crimea’s water supply. Mafia land would not have to go any further than that. And, once occupied, it would mean permanent Ruskie boots on the ground in yet another part of Ukraine and a serious one at that. Forget the jellyfish for mafia land would cry and lament that it had no other choice due to the “humane crisis” the water shortage had caused. Then, eventually, all would be “well”.

    • Your scenario is all too realistic. The putinazis would want to take the super-vulnerable Mariupol too. Putler holds all the cards. The Ukr army would resist, but in the end it would probably be taken, because the enemy could well decide to use air power. That is why the fate of Ukraine rests in the hands of a frail old man who has any number of projects on his hands that are far more dear to him than Ukraine. It will be much less costly in human and financial terms to take action to protect Ukraine now. The obvious suggestion is to quickly deploy some very serious air power to the region. At least to be going on with.

Air support would be great! If at least someone would provide the necessary weaponry to Ukraine to make any military assault extremely costly, it would help make the mafia scum think twice or even thrice before taking such a step. The time to do so was yesterday!
