Lawyer Olga Mikhailova, who visited Alexei Navalny in the colony, said that the state of health of the politician was “extremely unfavorable.”
“He has severe back pain in his right leg. His shin is taken away from him, his leg is incapacitated, that is, one leg practically does not work, that is, he cannot sit on it, nothing. The right leg is in a terrible state in fact, “Mikhailova told the Dozhd TV channel. Navalny, according to her, had an MRI scan, but the diagnosis has not yet been reported.
Navalny filed two applications through lawyers, according to the politician’s website. In the first, he reports that he has “a classic picture of the development of a disease associated with a pinched nerve,” and he was denied adequate medical care. The politician demands that he be examined in the colony by a specialist he has invited, as well as that he be given the necessary medicines.
In the second statement, Navalny indicates that he is registered as prone to escape and that the colony employee wakes him up every hour, that is, eight times a night. The politician reminds that convicts are guaranteed “uninterrupted eight-hour sleep” and demands to stop using “illegal torture measures”.
On March 23, lawyers for Alexei Navalny reported that the politician’s health condition in the colony deteriorated sharply – his back ached and his leg began to be taken away. The provision of medical assistance to Navalny, according to lawyers, was limited to the fact that he was prescribed two tablets of ibuprofen. The Federal Penitentiary Service for the Vladimir Region, in turn, announced on March 25 that Navalny’s state of health was “assessed as stable, satisfactory,” without specifying details.
More than 150 cultural and public figures signed an appeal to the Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service Alexander Kalashnikov, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov and Human Rights Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova with a request to create normal conditions for Navalny in the colony.

The putinazis are trying to finish him off.
At best he’s likely to be just a vegetable when he’s released.
There are/were very few opposition candidates left with democratic credentials who could lead putlerstan out of the darkness.
Khodorkovsky: prison, then exile.
Nemtsov: savagely murdered.
Kasparov: exile.
Navalny: poisoned twice, then prison. The doctor who saved his life was then murdered.
Vladimir Kara-Mirza: poisoned twice. Owes his life to one brave doctor. Spends a lot of time in the USA, but vows to keep returning to putlerstan.
So, at the moment it is fair to say that there is only one left that we know of who is in a position to effect change and that is the extraordinarily brave Mr Kara-Mirza. Let us hope that he can somehow keep clear from putler’s goon squad.
Hopefully the little red runt will meet his demise 15th century Scotland style by assassination and to the victor, the spoils. I’d vote for that at this point, after all, 15th century would be an upgrade for the habitually enslaved.
