“Complete nonsense.” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to accusations of Belarus in supplying “weapons for terrorist attacks”
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called the statement of the head of the KGB of Belarus Ivan Tertel about the supply of ” weapons for terrorist attacks” to the country nonsense .
“This is complete nonsense, which is not the first time heard from the lips of Belarusian officials. We categorically reject the hackneyed mantra about “weapons from Ukraine,” Oleg Nikolenko, press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, wrote on Twitter.
The diplomat said that the Belarusian authorities should “ stop frightening the Belarusian people with a contrived external enemy”.
The head of the Belarusian KGB Ivan Tertel claims that ” weapons for terrorist attacks” are allegedly supplied to the country from Ukraine .
He also complained that the Ukrainian law enforcement officers ignore the KGB’s inquiries regarding persons whom the Belarusian regime calls “ extremists”.
In addition to Ukraine, Tertel also accused Poland and other Western European countries of supporting the Belarusian opposition.
