277 out of 370 people present in the hall voted for the corresponding document .
The initiator of the bill is Ruslan Stefanchuk, First Deputy Speaker, People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People party .
“ On March 27-28, 2021, the next change of clocks to daylight saving time is planned. I appeal, let’s vote on Bill 4201 and save Ukraine from this annual transition, the benefits of which have not been proven, but the harm is obvious, ”he said.
The bill, which provides for the establishment and consolidation of a single Kiev time on the territory of Ukraine and the refusal of further seasonal translation of the clock hands, was submitted to parliament in October 2020.
On February 18, 2021, this document was supported by the Committee on Economic Development.
In Ukraine, on the night of March 28, the clock hands are shifted one hour forward – this is how the daylight saving time changes. For winter time, the clock hands are set back one hour on the last Sunday in October.

Good news. I can’t understand why countries still use this outdated practice, it benefits nobody as far as I’m concerned.
I have to set the time on 16 clocks and watches in my home twice a year. I can’t recall how often i came late to work because i forgot one.
Does that mean that the summer nights will get dark early? Or are they going to switch at the end of this month as usual and then not go back in October?
I heard they will move the clocks forward in March, then leave them at that time. It won’t get dark as early in winter.
Very wise decision. I have advocated that in Britain for years.
In Georgia also they do not alter the clocks.
The rumor in Ukraine is that there are some MP’s that want to have the same Time Zone as the Kremlinals.
If that is the case, then they can go and live there.
They can tell time?
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Oh yes, lol, but that’s a lot easier than adding or subtracting an hour ;))
Daft idea, we should stick with GMT.
Good! Changing the time twice a year is useless and a pain in the a…
