European Council president announces visit to Ukraine

President of the European Council Charles Michel announced a visit to Kyiv after a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
Charles Michel wrote about this on Twitter.
“I conveyed steadfast support for Ukraine’s recovery, reforms and fight against corruption to Denys Shmyhal. The EU is united and firm in its position on Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Looking forward to visiting Ukraine soon,” he wrote.
A Ukrainian government delegation headed by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal began a working visit to Brussels on February 9. Shmyhal met with European Council President Charles Michel and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The program of the visit includes a series of working meetings with representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament. On February 11, Shmyhal will lead the talks in the format of the EU-Ukraine Association Council.
