Those arrested in Sakharovo shouted while walking: “Putin is a thief!” Now they are threatened with a criminal case
Employees of the Investigative Committee threatened to prosecute people who, while walking in the special detention center in Sakharovo, shouted “Putin is a thief!” This is reported by OVD-Info, referring to the words of three acquaintances of different arrested.
A video of about 50 people shouting in the courtyard of the detention center appeared on February 7.
After the publication of the video, IC officers arrived at the detention center. They interviewed those who were filmed in the video, and also threatened them with an additional term of administrative arrest or a criminal case under the article on insulting the authorities.
One of those arrested told a friend that he saw how an electric shock was applied to some of the detainees. The interlocutor of OVD-Info admitted that it was the investigators who had arrived. Two other interlocutors of the organization do not know about this.
According to the woman who spoke about the use of the stun gun, one of the cells was searched, the phones were taken from the people, and then the cell was resettled. The friend of another prisoner also knows about the resettlement of the detainees.
