Interpol has put two Russians on the wanted list for an explosion of saltpeter in the port of Beirut. The explosion killed 190 people.
Interpol has put two Russian citizens on the wanted list in connection with the investigation into the explosion of saltpeter in the port of Beirut in August 2020.
We are talking about the captain of the vessel on which the saltpeter was delivered, Boris Prokoshev, as well as the owner of the vessel, Igor Grechushkin. Together with them, the Portuguese Jorge Moreira, who bought this saltpeter at a factory in Georgia, was put on the wanted list.
The announcement on the wanted list by Interpol was made at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Lebanon.
The so-called “red notice” (red notice) was issued in relation to the Russians and the Portuguese. It has a lower priority than an international arrest warrant: the member countries of Interpol do not need to search for these people, but if their location becomes known, they must be detained.
Prokoshev told RBC that he was “shocked” by the wanted list. “In the end, for that matter, we were not transporting the cargo to Lebanon, but to Mozambique. And this is not my fault, they themselves detained the ship in Beirut, did not release it from the port, ”the sailor said.
Grechushkin and Prokoshev were arrested in absentia by a court in Lebanon back in October 2020.

It makes a change for Interpol actually doing the thing it was formed for, instead of being abused by Muscovy to persecute Putin’s enemies. No doubt Interpol will now be accused of Russophobia, and a tool of the US.
As of the 7,000 or so public Red Notices, 2,631 are based on requests from Russia. The United States, by comparison, has requested 331 of the current public Red Notices, Canada 58, China 40, France 26, Japan 2, and the UK zero.

Those are staggering statistics Foccusser, thank you. It is pretty clear that the Kremlin definition of a crime differs from the rest of the world.
This also supports our old theory that, “Where you find international crime, you will find Russians.”

This Interpol seems to be another useless organisation that is infiltrated with Russian money. Do they ever investigate any of these claims by Muscovy before they put someone on a Red notice?

Yes, right alongside with the OSCE. No wonder KGB Putin tried so hard to get the leadership in that organization. Everyone knows the Moskali are trying to bring everyone down to their level but why do they let them?

I would guess either kompromat, or a big sack of rubles.

I think some day far into the future, Russia will be needed to join the civilized world to fight either the Asiatic commies or the Islamofascists. Considering the last 300 years I’m afraid they wouldn’t take up with the civilized world.

No longer just a theory Redders!
Btw, I quite like the opinions of Seb Gorka. Are you familiar with him? He’s loud and brash, but he’s ok. You will like him because he is a die hard trumpoid. I like him because he hates the alt-right putlerite scumsuckers. This is unusual in pro-Trump media because most of them are putler jackboot lickers. Another good guy is Mark Levin, for the same reasons. Both these guys have good podcasts.

I’m a little familiar with Gorka. He is another former British citizen that loves the US Constitution, especially the 1st amendment. I think he was Deputy National Security Advisor for M.E. policy I believe.

I guess the other 2600 must be Russians that upset Putin.
