The whole world is experiencing a shortage of coronavirus vaccine. For Ukraine, this is a chance to become a powerful player in the global pharmaceutical market. Political expert Mykhailo Chaplyga commented on Facebook on the statement of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that there’s not enough Russian vaccine against COVID-19.

And this is just one example! One country on the European continent. And how many such countries are in Latin America, Asia, Africa?” a political expert wrote.

According to Chaplyga, Viktor Medvedchuk’s proposal to produce a vaccine at a Ukrainian plant is a chance for Ukraine to become a powerful player in the world market.

“What does this mean? The demand for a vaccine is enormous! That is why a pandemic is a chance for the players in the global market of medicines! And for countries that have pharmaceutical plants, it is a chance to become such a player.”

But who will allow competition when the “big guys” are going to skim the all the cream off? That is why the entire comprador army – Zelensky, Stepanov, Lyashko – is ready to do anything and stop Ukraine from launching producing of a vaccine against Covid-19, as suggested by Medvedchuk,” the expert said.

Chaplyga explained that the government, headed by Zelensky, opposes the proposal to produce the vaccine in Ukraine, because he serves the interests of the United States and other Western countries.

“Because if Ukraine starts to produce vaccine at its plants using the technology that Medvedchuk agreed upon with Putin, then the United States and other “producers” will have to make room. And to make room is to share income. That is why “green” compradors received order to attack and bark at any variant, except for vaccines made in USA, made in Britain and made in EU,” the expert emphasized.

“In that case, Ukraine could fully vaccinate its citizens, because the cost of the vaccine at its own production facilities will be several times lower. But, as the well-known American saying goes,” The natives’ problems is not sheriff’s concern,” political expert concluded.
