At the end of October, 13 patients admitted to the hospital with coronavirus died at a hospital in Rostov-on-Don. Local publications claimed that lack of oxygen was the cause of death. Problems with the supply of medical oxygen could be associated with the opaque economic system that existed in the Rostov hospital for many years.

This exponential history – the fall of 2020 the problems with the supply of oxygen were still two dozen other Russian regions.

Olesya Shmagun, a journalist for Vostochnye Stories, tells who could be the beneficiary of the corruption scheme, how abuses in Russian medicine manifested themselves during the pandemic, and how this corrupt system leads to death.
