Law enforcers in absentia bring to justice the head of the terrorist base at the seized Izolyatsia plant in Donetsk. This was reported on the website of the regional police.
In 2014, gunmen took over the factory and turned it into a prison. Pro-Ukrainian residents were kept there, as well as servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units involved in the ATO / JFO.
Law enforcers found out that the “MGB base” was headed by a 36-year-old native of the village of Maryinsky district. On his instructions, the prisoners were subjected to physical and psychological violence: men and women were severely beaten, tortured with electric shocks for hours.
In addition, the suspect organized the exploitation of the victims, who were forced to do hard work – unload barrels of fuel, collect scrap metal, clean the premises.
Now the militant has been announced on suspicion of committing crimes under four articles of the Criminal Code: Part 1 of Art. 258-3 (creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization), part 1 of Art. 260 (creation of paramilitary or armed formations not provided for by law), part 2 of Art. 28 h. 1 tbsp. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons), part 2 of Art. 149 (obtaining and hiding a person for the purpose of exploitation using coercion and other dependence of the victim, committed against several persons, by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
The pre-trial investigation continues. The police asked people who were in captivity or who are witnesses of such facts to report this by calling 102, (099) 269-07-99. Anonymity is guaranteed.
