Kravchuk to Gryzlov at the TCG meeting: Don’t give us ultimatums, we are not in the USSR and not under the Kremlin

The President’s Office told about the regular meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass.

According to the press service of the OP, procedural issues were discussed at the meeting for four hours, but this did not allow us to immediately proceed to the consideration of issues on the agenda.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation, Leonid Kravchuk, called on the representative of the Russian Federation, Boris Gryzlov, not to block the negotiations and focus on the issues that the citizens of Ukraine are interested in resolving.

He stressed that the parties should ” work on the implementation of the decisions of the heads of the countries of the Normandy format, which were reached during the Paris summit.” Kravchuk recalled that the Ukrainian side is ready for constructive work.

“ Don’t give us ultimatums. We are not in the USSR or under the Kremlin. Ukraine is an independent state that will not allow any conditions to be dictated to it, ”he said.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation also thanked the special representative of the head of the OSCE in Ukraine and the TCG Heidi Grau for efforts to restore peace and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Agency Interfax-Ukraine , citing a source close to the negotiations, reported that Grau was forced to suspend the meeting because of the fact that Russia had violated the confidentiality regime.

“ As it turned out during the meeting, the Russian side was conducting an unauthorized audio and video recording of the TCG’s work, which it announced during the meeting. The head of the Russian delegation, in particular, also announced his intention to unilaterally publish audio and video recordings of the talks, ”the agency’s source said.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, Grau proposed to suspend the work of the TCG and hold an extraordinary meeting to establish a common code of conduct and information policy. The Ukrainian side supported the proposal.

On September 30, the TCG held a meeting without Vitold Fokin , who was fired from his post as deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation that day.

You are wasting your time, the scum don’t work like that. Time to scrap all these useless talks anyway, after 6 years they produced exactly nothing.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.
I’m sure that this was a “provocation” for the Ruskie mafia and that would be good.
