In Mariupol, the pier was turned into a modern resting place
In Mariupol, after reconstruction, a pier was opened near the yacht club on the City Beach.
For a long time, the recreation site, popular among residents and guests of the city, remained neglected: the concrete coating of the pier was worn out, the metal supports and the fence were rusted.
On the eve of the City Day, the city authorities have developed a project for the reconstruction of the pier. Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Metinvest-Promservice provided partner assistance in its implementation.
Now the pier has become a modern public space where you can stroll and eat during the day and evening.
Today dozens of Mariupol residents have come here to enjoy the sea view and rowing. Nearby, in the water sports complex, sports competitions are held.
As a reminder, residents of Mariupol can freely walk along the renewed Svoboda Square . Food courts and playgrounds were opened here.
