Angela Merkel urged Russia to find and punish those responsible for the poisoning of Alexei Navalny

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in a joint statement called on the Russian authorities to conduct an open investigation into the poisoning of Alexei Navalny.

Merkel and Mass noted that, according to the Berlin clinic “Charite”, clinical studies point to the poisoning of Alexei Navalny.

“Given the prominent role of Mr. Navalny among the political opposition in Russia, the authorities must investigate this crime down to the last detail – and in full transparency. It is necessary to establish and punish those responsible, ”the statement says.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was one of the first to offer assistance to the family of Alexei Navalny after the Russian oppositionist was hospitalized. After Navalny was transported to Berlin for treatment, his associate Leonid Volkov thanked the German government and Merkel personally for “providing international support, helping to resolve a huge number of bureaucratic and security issues.”

Hey Merkel, cut the BS and come straight out with it, and say Putin ordered the poisoning, and huge sanctions will follow.

  • Merkel and her little lapdog Maas once again shining with incompetence and cowardice! Their response to Putin’s attempted murder is indisputably comprehensively deplorable.
Are those Germans who still have a spark of pride and a spoonful of common sense left not deeply ashamed by this ragtag gang of losers in their government?
