Doctors of the Omsk hospital agreed to send Navalny to a German clinic

Doctors of the Omsk emergency hospital (BSMP) No. 1, where politician Alexei Navalny is in intensive care, allowed him to be sent for treatment to Germany. This is reported by the Omsk edition “Gorod55”.

The decision was made at the council, which was attended by the wife of the oppositionist Yulia Navalnaya. According  to Gorod55, Navalny will leave Omsk within a few hours.

According to the deputy chief physician of BSMP-1 Anatoly Kalinichenko, the doctors “finally ruled out poisoning.”

“Our diagnosis with complications explains Navalny’s condition. There is information about a certain drug that was discovered. We do not have such papers. No blood or urine was found. The clinic does not correspond to the poisoning with this substance “, – reports the words of Kalinichenko” Gorod55 “.

The head doctor of the hospital, Alexander Murakhovsky, told Interfax that no traces of the chemical compound found on his hands and on his clothes were found in Navalny’s blood and urine. “That is, intoxication with this substance is also excluded,” the agency quoted Murakhovsky as saying.

On the morning of August 21, Omsk doctors did not allow Navalny to be transported because of his unstable, according to them, condition. In Germany, Navalny is ready to receive clinic Charite in Berlin.

The plane for the politician will be sent by the Cinema for Peace Foundation, which in 2018 brought Pussy Riot participant Pyotr Verzilov to the same clinic .

Navalny became ill on August 20 on an airplane flying from Tomsk to Moscow. The liner urgently sat down in Omsk, the politician was taken to the hospital. He’s in a coma.
