Lukashenka considers the creation of the opposition coordination council an attempt to seize power
The creation of a coordinating council of the Belarusian opposition is an attempt to seize power, believes President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. His words are quoted by tut.by.
“They demand neither more nor less – to transfer power to them. So, we regard it unequivocally: this is an attempt to seize power with all the ensuing consequences, ”Lukashenka said.
In his opinion, the council is made up of “former priests (people who have been in power – approx.” Meduza “),” European Radio for Belarus reports . “There [in the council] are former, offended <…> and outspoken Nazis,” Lukashenka’s words are quoted on the radio station’s telegram channel.
