On the evening of August 12, the third consecutive action of solidarity with the Belarusian opposition, protesting against the results of the presidential elections in the country, was held in Moscow near the Belarusian Embassy on Maroseyka Street. About 400 people came to the building of the diplomatic mission. They are lined up with posters and burning candles. The police pushed the protesters away from the building, detaining at least ten people. Later, people returned to the embassy and built a memorial in front of it with flowers, posters and the inscription “Long live Belarus”, made of burning candles. The police destroyed him.Mikhail Metzel / TASS / Scanpix / LETA
