Ukraine’s SBU service has recordings of phone calls where the detainee elaborates on a feud between the Russian intelligence service and the FSB over control of illegal armed formations’ leaders in Donbas.
Ukraine’s SBU Security Service has detained a citizen of Ukraine, K., in Kyiv, who in 2014-2020 acted as one of the “supervisors” of terrorist leaders of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” (“DPR”) through the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the detainee took an active part in the creation of the so-called “DPR Intelligence Directorate” and other units of the said terrorist organization, the SBU said on Facebook on July 7.
He is charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (creating a terrorist group or terrorist organization).
He will soon be served with charge papers.
The SBU has records of K.’s telephone conversations, where he reveals the details of interdepartmental wars between the GRU and the FSB over control of “DPR” leaders.
During their phone talks, the persons involved in the case mention the names of FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov and his deputies Andrei Burlaka and Sergey Smirnov, assistant to the president of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov, leaders of the “DPR” Alexander Zakharchenko, Alexander Borodai, and others.
Also an important part of the recordings are conversations of K. with GRU Major General Sergey Dubinsky (nom de guerre “Khmuryi”) and Leonid Kharchenko (nom de guerre “Krot”), who are on the international wanted list in the case of the downing of Malaysian Airline flight MH17 in Donbas, which resulted in 298 deaths.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the detainee also managed an agent network and a number of acts of terror and sabotage were committed on his orders in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
It was established that the leaders and representatives of the so-called “DPR Intelligence Directorate” are directly related to the downing of the passenger

Now that Ukraine have released this information, Russia will make sure he’s on the next prisoner swap list, and Zelensky will make sure it happens. Unbelievable!
Man that’s sick!
Why would you release classified information like this, unless you wanted Russia to know you had the guy?
Agreed. Fascists don’t share power and there’s been a power struggle between the fascist forces of the GRU and the KGB for years. We should encourage their infighting instead of unifying them. If one of the scum comes up missing the other side would think the others did it. Yep, this is pure trade bait.
Ukraine should have kept quiet. Charged him, then used him as a witness in this MH17 trial.
Perhaps the moskali will disown him, saying he’s nothing to do with it, more Ukrainian russophobia or some such shit, all lies, in true moskali lie style.
Then of course later, put him on the list for exchange.
I wonder if those in the last swaps have been returned to the fighting.
To the HAGUE! BIGGEST CAUGHT FISH SO FAR! DONT EXCHANGE HIM, STUPID FOOL ZELENSKY!
