In Odesa, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) warned an attempt by a neo-Nazi organization to set fire to a mosque on the eve of the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag, as the SBU press service reports.

As a result of a special operation on the night of June 25-26, SBU officers detained two members of a neo-Nazi organization in the center of Odesa while trying to set fire to an Islamic religious building using two Molotov cocktails,” the statement said.

It is also reported that one of the detainees arrived in Ukraine after a long stay in Russia. During the searches, arson means, mobile terminals and notebooks with evidence of the planning of the attack were seized from them. The defendants in the case were detained, the pre-trial investigation continues.
