Official Russian account wrote about nostalgia of many Ukrainians in USSR
Ukrainian Twitter account answered the Russian on tweets about the nostalgia of many Ukrainians for Soviet Ukraine and the “Russian Crimea”. This is evidenced by a message on the official Twitter page.
“Toxic ex here (toxic former here, – ed.),” The Ukrainian side commented on the Russian message.
In turn, Russia in a tweet noted that many Ukrainians remember only good things about the times when Ukraine entered the USSR.
“Many Ukrainians still remember the good days when Soviet Ukraine was part of the USSR, as the days of the popularity of healthy tourism and industrial centers. This and much more is now available in the Russian Crimea,” the Russian side writes.
Note that the original tweet of the Russian side collected almost 1.5 thousand distributions and 1.8 thousand preferences, while 32.5 thousand distributions and more than 100 thousand preferences were already collected under the Ukrainian answer.
March 2014, Russian forces have begun occupation of Crimea. Then on the territory of the autonomous republic was formed a paramilitary group “Self-Defense of the Crimea.”
Already on March 16, an illegal referendum was held in these territories, in which the people allegedly expressed a desire to annex the territory of Crimea to Russia.
Most of the world community preferably did not support such actions, and numerous sanctions were imposed on the Russian Federation.

Russia thoroughly destroyed on Twitter. Here is the great reply from Ukraine to the scum. Notice they don’t promote this paradise by showing any upto date images, but images taken in the 60s and 70s.

Couldn’t they have come back with something a lot stronger than ‘toxic ex’? Sounds like they’re taking what are deadly serious matters too flippantly.
Would probably have got the tweet blocked if they had.
“Toxic Ex” is SO Ukrainian. There is a bit of humor in so many replies. For example, “steel” means “table” which is a HUGE insult in Ukraine. To call someone a table is like calling someone a fkkg idiot in the west. Also, “dura” means basically a dry tree branch which is another huge insult. I know some Ukrainians that absolutely hate the tiny poisoner with a passion but can’t even bring themselves to call him huylo or sukha. That’s where I come in ;))
Holodomor was mentioned a few times too.
The following is not at all funny, but it did make me laugh!
