Russia is preparing mirror measures in response to expulsion of its diplomats from Czech Republic

Russian Foreign Ministry promised that Moscow will take into account Czech government’s action

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to take “mirror measures” in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the Czech Republic. The corresponding statement was made by the press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, as Interfax reports.

“The most important thing is that it will not only be reciprocal mirror or symmetrical measures, but of course it will be taken into account in building the course towards this state,” Zakharova said.

She praised the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the Czech Republic as an “unfriendly” and “indecent” act.

As we reported before, the Czech government has declared two Russian diplomats, involved in a scandal surrounding an assassination attempt on Czech politicians, persona non grata.

Data from the Information Security Service clearly indicate that the whole story arose as a result of an internal struggle at the Russian Embassy in Prague, and one of them (diplomat – ed.) sent targeted information about the planned attack on Czech politicians to the BIS,” he said.

  1. To be fair to Russia, let the Czech public decide what should be done with this monument to terrorism. Drag the offending piece of crap into Wenceslas Square, place 50 or 60 10lb hammers around it, if it survives for 24 hours, the Czechs can send it back to Russia. If not, they can bag it up and still send it back to Russia.

      • It’s time all Russian ‘diplomats’ were sent back to Russia. The West will never learn, never give Muscovy an inch.

  2. The evil little skank certainly is unfriendly and indecent. And those are her better qualities.

    • It’s all they have left in the locker, except for organising a few riots here and there.

  3. The Ruskie juvenile tit-for-tat impresses no one.
I can’t imagine the Czech diplomats being upset about getting sent back home again. Anyone should be happy to leave mafia land.
