Czech Republic expels Russian diplomats due to mystification of murder threat of local politicians

Czech authorities expel two Russian diplomats in connection with the “ ricin” case , which, as it turned out, is a hoax of Russian diplomats.

This is stated in a joint statement by Prime Minister Andrei Babis and Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petršicek.

According to representatives of the Czech authorities, the case was initially fictitious – information about the alleged arrival of a Russian diplomat in the Czech Republic with ricin to kill Czech politicians was circulated by an employee of the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic.

“ The reason for sending information to Czech intelligence was a dispute with another embassy official. From the information that I received from the Security Service, it clearly follows that the case was fabricated as a result of a confrontation between two employees of the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic, ”Babisa Radio Prague quotes .

Thus, one of the diplomats intentionally sent to the Czech Security Service fictitious information about the planned attack against Czech politicians.

“ This led to problems in Czech-Russian relations and the damage to the good name of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic,” summed up Babis.

On June 5, the Czech Republic declared two Russian diplomats persona non grata .

The Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic confirmed the fact of receiving the note and called the expulsion of the two diplomats “an unfriendly move, which was originally based on unsubstantiated allegations in the media.”

Earlier, the Czech mayor of Prague, Zdenek Grzyb, and two local officials were given protection because of a possible threat from Russia, wrote the Czech journal Respekt without indicating the source of information.

Later , the Prague City Hall confirmed that Grzhib was granted protection, although they refused to clarify the reason for this. Indirectly, the existence of a threat to politicians was confirmed by official Prague.

A Russian with ricin allegedly arrived in Prague, who was planning to kill officials initiating the dismantling of the monument to Konev.

In Prague, in early April, the authorities dismantled the monument to Marshal Konev, the monument will be transferred to the Museum of the 20th Century in memory.

The dismantling of the sculpture provoked indignation in Russia, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a “ criminal case” on the rehabilitation of Nazism.

  1. “This led to problems in Czech-Russian relations and the damage to the good name of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic,” summed up Babis.

I thought this looked very fishy, now seeing this BS statement, I’m sure this is a cover up. Old Zeman coming up with some excuse to help Muscovy save face, and to make it look legitimate, we’ll expel a couple of nobodies.

    • Too many western politicians believe the Kremlinals constantly need to “save face”. When bad behavior occurs the exact opposite should happen. Do they also say that bullies need to save face when they beat smaller kids? Do rapists deserve to save face too? Do murderers get political protection because of their nationality? Does international law carve out exceptions for Moskali? Save face, my ass, more like put a fucking bullet in it…
