The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has received a petition from 47 people’s deputies on the constitutionality of the law on unbundling of Naftogaz – the separation of the GTS into a separate company.
This was reported by the press service of the court.
It is noted that the authorized representatives of the people’s deputies who submitted the petitions are Batkivshchyna people’s deputies Yulia Tymoshenko and Serhiy Vlasenko.
“The constitutional petition is due to the fact that energy is a strategically important sector of Ukraine’s economy, on the stability and sustainable development of which depend on the livelihood and quality of most spheres of society, as well as the well-being of the Ukrainian people, not only present but also future generations.” people’s deputies.
Among the people’s deputies who signed the petitions to the Constitutional Court, in particular, Yulia Tymoshenko, Serhiy Vlasenko, Mykhailo Volynets, Ivan Krulko, Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, Yulia Levochkina, Viktor Medvedchuk, Natalia Korolevska, Vadym Rabinovych, Nestor Shufrych and others.
We will remind:
On November 17, 2019, the Law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in Connection with the Separation of Natural Gas Transportation Activities” entered into force.
As you know, unbundling is the separation of natural gas transportation activities (GTS operator activities) from the extraction and supply of natural gas and electricity.
On January 1, 2020, the independent gas transmission system operator completely separated from the Naftogaz Group and began autonomous work – transportation of natural gas for consumers in Ukraine and the EU.

Unbundling the gas sector because of rampant corruption is more important. These signatories obviously don’t want to see the pig trough being emptied, and shows they are not interested in the welfare of Ukraine.
The pro-Russia coalition……………..
Yep, they know the separation of transit with owners is a requirement by the IMF and it also keeps the ruSSo-slime from skimming profits and stealing from Ukrainians.
